About EFY Music

EFY (Especially for Youth) music has been a cherished part of the LDS youth experience for decades. These songs — performed at EFY sessions across the country — capture the spirit, energy, and faith of Latter-day Saint young people. The store offered EFY albums spanning multiple years, featuring both classic favorites and newer recordings from a variety of LDS artists.

Whether you were looking for the iconic EFY Medley or full albums from specific EFY years, this collection brought together some of the most memorable music from the program.

The EFY music collection offered something for every young Latter-day Saint seeking to feel the spirit through song. Whether families were building a library of uplifting music for Sunday listening or young people wanted to relive their summer EFY experience, the available albums spanned a wide range of years and styles. Each recording captured the distinctive energy of the program, blending contemporary arrangements with timeless gospel themes. Many visitors came specifically looking for particular years that held personal significance, hoping to find the exact songs that accompanied their own faith-building moments.

Beyond the well-known medley that many participants remember fondly, the full albums from individual EFY years provided a deeper listening experience. These recordings featured a rotating cast of talented LDS artists who brought their own interpretive voices to familiar and original material alike. The songs themselves ranged from energetic, upbeat numbers designed for large group participation to quieter, reflective pieces suited for personal devotion. Together, they formed a soundtrack of discipleship for a generation of young members navigating their faith during formative years.

For those who attended EFY, hearing these songs again often brings back vivid memories of new friendships, meaningful lessons, and moments of personal revelation. The music has a remarkable ability to transport listeners back to those summer weeks when faith felt especially vibrant and alive. Even for those who never attended a session, the recordings stand on their own as quality LDS music that speaks to universal experiences of growth, hope, and belonging. This collection served as both a nostalgic keepsake and a practical resource for families seeking wholesome, spiritually uplifting music.
