yourLDSmusicstore.com (YLDSMS) is an online music store with a mission to support positive, uplifting music of all genres. We sell physical CDs, MP3 downloads, physical and digital songbooks and sheet music. Right up front, let's answer these few questions you’re sure to have. What are the advantages to selling my music on YLDSMS?

Unlike other online or brick-and-mortar stores that simply put your CD on the shelf, YLDSMS constantly promotes its catalog on radio, in print, and on the Internet. Also, we regularly send a weekly YLDSMS newsletter to over 8,000 email subscribers. YLDSMS takes the worry out of selling your products by taking care of order fulfillment and customer service, freeing you up to create more great music!

Our sister-company R Legacy Distribution also provides wholesale distribution to some of the top LDS stores across the country, including Deseret Book, Seagull Book, BYU Bookstore and LDSBookstore.com.

How much will selling on YLDSMS cost me?

The submission fee is $35 per album. Once your albums are up and on the site, that’s it - nothing more to pay. We do make additional marketing tools available at affordable rates to artists who would like to get behind their music even further.

How much do I get for the music I sell on YLDSMS?

We take product on a consignment basis. Basically you’ll get $6.00 for every physical CD sold at regular price ($15.95-$16.95) and 60% of the net received per download. For more detailed information and examples see our Submissions FAQ page. You’ll receive a quarterly* check for whatever you’ve sold. *payments are made when the aggregated amount reaches $25.00.

Would I need to sign a contract?

Yes, but it is not an exclusive contract. You still own your product! There are two types of contracts:

Retail Only – your product will only be sold on YLDSMS

Retail and Wholesale – your product will be sold on YLDSMS and R Legacy Distribution.

What is the submission process?

1. Artist submits products for review using our online submission process.
2. The artist will receive an email within 2 weeks acknowledging approval or rejection.
3. The artist and company will complete a contract.
4. Upon contract completion the artist will receive an initial consignment order.
